Track and navigate below the surface
Navigation underwater is trickier than on land. Sensors such as GPS, does not work underwater. For underwater applications we need to rely on hydroaucoustics to track our whereabouts.
The hydroacoustic solutions available and the accuracy requirements of the sensors depend on what job you are doing. Some may only need to know where they are in relation to a reference point; some may need to only travel to a point and come back to the starting point, while others may require an accurate geo-referenced position at all times and over very long distances.

Mission planning
Kobler du på en posisjoneringssensor på en Blueye ROV kan du kjøre autonome oppdrag direkte i Blueye-appen. Bare angi instruksjoner, trykk på startknappen, og la Blueye ROV-en ta seg av resten.
Mission planning er verdifullt i en rekke bruksområder, fra å regelmessige inspeksjoner til å søke etter spesifikke mål på havbunnen.
